Forgotten Sydney

Sometimes an amble about town reveals hidden treasures.

Sinister stairways.

Train stations for the departed.

Vine covered dwellings and abandoned abodes.

Hidden laneways and backstreets.

I think one needs to amble often to appreciate one's habitat.
What do you think?

Adventures of Eric

It was a long hot Summer

Eric the emu needed to cool off.

He knocked on the door,

was offered some refreshment,

and sat in the cool and pondered the universe.

Then a quick thank you to his hostess,

and then he was off to join the kids waiting for the school bus.

She thought.............

She thought of the sea.
She thought of the sand.
She thought of the sea, the sand and the sea-weed.

She should have moved a bit quicker
she thought
as she squelched back up the beach.

She withdrew......

Just a quick post today.

Things will slow down for a spell.  I have too many fingers in too many pies and there have been complaints from management.

But it's been a beautiful day outside.

And I've baked a little something for you all.

So now it's time to close the blinds and say good night.

Night night :)

Post wander ponder

Moving away from old buildings, we look at old clothes.

Pondering hats

Pondering dresses

And just pondering.......

What did I ponder?
I can't remember.
